Behavioral Intervention Services (B.I.S. Classes) is a premier service provider for the Kern County Probation Department, California State Parole, and Children's Protective Services (CPS). Our services include Batterer's Intervention Treatment (Domestic Violence), Domestic Violence Diversion Program (DVDP), Anger Management, Child Abuse, Child Neglect, Parenting, Child Endangerment, and Failure to Protect.
Our treatment modality is based on a cognitive behavioral approach. Our curricula is structured and focuses on developing interpersonal skills such as active listening and assertive communication. We address drug and alcohol addiction and its relative correlation to family violence and broken relationships. Our group leaders are compassionate, professional, and knowledgeable.
